I liked being a teen in the late 90's.  I straddled the turn of the century!  I also remember what it was like before the Internet.

But.. I guess I would have liked to be a teen in the 70's too.  The psychedelic movies, shows, music...

Fast food, all-in-one packages, on-the-go gadgets, buy 2 save 1 dollar, meal-replacement bars....  Sometimes it feels like we just buy shit because it screams "I'm convenient!"
